This policy explains what CCCM collects, why, and what we do with it. CCCM is an independent, member-run site and is not affiliated with the club.

What we collect

  • Account info: your name and the email address we use to verify club membership.
  • Content you post: discussion posts, classifieds listings, images, and profile details you choose to add.
  • Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) that the forum software records to operate the site and prevent abuse.

Why we collect it

  • To verify you’re eligible for access.
  • To run the site — sign you in, display your posts, send notifications you’ve opted into.
  • To keep the community secure and enforce our Terms.

How your information is used and shared

  • Other members can see your name, your posts, and anything in your public profile. Treat everything you post as visible to the whole membership.
  • Email delivery: we use Resend, a transactional email service, to send sign-in links and notifications. Your email address is processed by Resend solely to deliver that mail.
  • We do not sell your data, and we don’t share it with advertisers or outside marketers.
  • The club does not have access to this site’s data. CCCM is independent.

Where your data lives

The site runs on privately operated, self-hosted infrastructure. We apply reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.

Cookies

CCCM uses cookies only for essential functions — keeping you signed in and maintaining your session. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Keeping information private

Our Terms prohibit members from taking content off this site — no screenshots to outside groups, no forwarding member contact information. This is a house rule, not a technical guarantee; please post accordingly.

Retention

We keep your account and content while your account is active. When your account is closed, we remove your account information; posts may be anonymized or removed at moderator discretion.

Your choices

To access, correct, or delete your information, or to close your account, contact a moderator through the site.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on the site.
